Bio
Cody Rasmussen is a commercial beauty and fashion photographer and director based in New York City, working internationally across Lisbon, London, Paris, and Los Angeles.
His work is built on the craft of beauty image-making — luminous skin, precise hair texture and movement, and clean, cinematic light — carried from global haircare and cosmetics campaigns to editorial commissions and award-winning personal series. Working across stills, GIF, and motion, he frequently shoots and directs within a single production, giving brands one consistent visual voice across advertising, packaging, retail, salon education, and social.
Selected clients include L'Oréal, Kérastase Paris, Pureology, Innersense, Bumble and bumble, Sebastian Professional, Shu Uemura, Laura Mercier, Wella, Goldwell, Nexxus, Matrix, and De Beers, with work published in L'Officiel, Elle, Esquire, Maxim, and Condé Nast titles.
His personal series have earned Best of Best at the 2025 Creative Communication Awards for Curwen & Woodward, additional C2A wins for Series Sixty Four and XSQUARED, selection in the American Photography 39 and 41 annuals, and repeated honors from the International Photography Awards.
Known for a calm, collaborative set and a director's eye for movement, Rasmussen delivers imagery built to perform — consistent, scalable, and made for advertising. He is available for commissions worldwide.
